Answered no, simply because the update has already made LDoA much easier.

Absolutely not. We already have the quests in place, so there's no need for an experience boost.

No.
The weekend events are there to cater to the largest population in the game: everyone out of pre-searing.
Put a weekend event in pre-searing and it alienates almost every player in the game. but of course most people that reply to this statement will think otherwise, as a majority that will click this thread will be players in pre-searing.

Not unless we get a double in the rest of the world too.

Noo, have you seen how many LDoA's there have been in the past week and 2 days? To add to that, we also have 22,000 minutes of favor due to LDoA, Survivor And Ale Hound.

The xp is fine where it is at.

Question to those that replied saying no because it would be too easy or along those lines. Do you also think double reputation points weekened events for titles such as sunspear should be removed? Or those are fine? You can get sunspear in less than a day on those weekends. I can see that the event would cater to only a segment of players but most weekend events do that already like pvp weekends exclude pve-only players. So that didn't bother me. I voted yes to give it parity with reputation titles.

No. They already made LDOA super easy to get, now you want it easier? Stop being lazy and play the game.

/not signed LDoA just became much more easily obtainable and there's no need whatsoever to make it any easier.

Don't really mind either way tbh, I dumped a couple of little used characters and started again in pre.

The only reason to do this is to get ldoa and eventually survivor once I have the first I will leave.
The faster I can do it the happier I will be so double triple quad xp whatever gets me the title.

Its no biggie but I am only here to get the title in a fairly sensible way, a way I might add that should have been the way right from day 1.

It's rather fast already.

It's just About 140K exp, and you can already get plenty of points.

Look at Sunspear. It takes 50K, and the rewards from quests are laughable, and they give you about 8 points per kill at most.
With LDoA, you will get 64, 48, 32 and 16 points per kill, plus 1000XP per quest.

It's more than enough to get it under a month without farming the enemies.

Well lets put some more figures on the table. Sunspear awards bonus points for mobs. Parties can be sized 8 with no loss of points versus 2 with LDOA but a penalty to points. Mobs for sunspear come in bigger groups that can be c-spaced through with wurm farm.

Currently wurm farm yields 4800 points/hour according to wiki with no event. Almost 10% of the Sunspear title per hour. With the weekend event it brings it to 9600 points/hour or a smidge over 5 hours to max the title. Presently the fastest way to get LDOA is about 2 Days whereas a weekend event could reduce it to 1 day. Consquently an LDOA weekend event will still take longer to obation LDOA than Sunspear without an event.

So should Sunspear weekend events be terminated because omg its only 5 hours to get the title? Or its ok for sunspear to be obtained fast but not LDOA. LDOA is a more elite title and should be more time consuming?

Although I see where people are coming from, an event such as this would work. It's from KILLS not quests, and quests aren't really enough. While kills also give a decent amount of exp, a double exp weekend would help motivate more people to try new things.

It wouldn't have mattered if the ldoa title had contimued to post searing with the players having till ascalon is evacuated and we all moved to Kryta for the "war" to be ended.
That way there would be a good chance to get the points needed.

While there are a number of repeatable quests in the game how else could many or the titles be gained, in pre there are no repeatable quests.
If you do all the missions you can get around 7500 xp I think, then its across the wall for repeated killing till you top out and originally had to death level.

Now you have one mission per day which fetch 1000 xp

since you need 140,600 xp to get to level 20 it still takes a while and once you do have it, it pretty much makes your time in post searing a walk in the park as your way to high to enjoy the missions.

ldoa is a more worthwhile title now for which I thank anet but a little more xp occasionally would be nice too.
